Currently, we are seeking a Junior Programmer to join our IT Group. This position will provide support for the organization’s business groups as well as Director of Application and Integration and Manager of Development and Automations. The Junior Programmer will design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs, modifications, and new products. They will have the essential skills to interpret and work with company data, turn data into useful information that can be shared with the organization, and assist in monitoring quality control plans to identify and present processes for improvement. Other responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design and providing strategic direction on ways to present corporate data to end users.


In this role, you will: 

  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Work with Manager of Development and Automations to develop and implement databases, data collection systems and business intelligence tools that can help to identify, analyze and interpret trends from our corporate data.
  • Develop, create and modify general computer application software / specialized programs
  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions/modifications.
  • Provide insight to application system upgrades and/or suggests new systems and technologies that best align with the needs of the business.
  • Create and maintaining documentation of solutions/modifications.
  • Integrate various disparaging systems and functions to reduce duplicate entries/references
  • Create, manage, maintain web based front ends/interfaces.
  • Analyze business needs to determine programming requirements/opportunities for new and existing software projects.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and informational needs.
  • Train other employees.
  • Provide technical assistance for questions and problems.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.


A successful candidate will have: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related.
  • Programming knowledge/experience in C, C#, C++, Python, PowerShell and/or Java.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated web development knowledge (HTML5, Javascript, PHP).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of databases (SQL, PL/SQL, DDL).
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools.
