Equipment Field Technician

Scott Construction - Resident Equipment Field Technicians - We do not expect you to live in St. Rose. Typically you will be dispatched from home and cover a more regional area around your location, There will be times you will need to come to the branch.

We need multiple heavy and light Equipment and/or Crane Field Techs.

We also need Shop Techs with Heavy and Light Construction Equipment and Or Crane diagnostic and repair experience.

Responsibilities

This Field Service Technician will operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations to perform in-field diagnostics and repair equipment as required. These repairs will consist of, but are not limited to, complete component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning, following prescribed technical manual procedures. This individual must be able to perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible, and work overtime and weekends on occasion.

Qualifications

Excellent mechanical skills; Diesel, Hydraulic, Electrical, Drive Train repair experience

Current and valid driver’s license required depending on the position

Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment

Strong computer skills

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Must currently reside in the U.S.
