Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor (also known as Manufacturing Supervisor, Production Manager), you'll be a key player in managing production activities in the Chemical, Extrusion, Drying Area. This critical role requires strong leadership, technical skills, and a commitment to safety. You'll plan and control production, take on line responsibilities, lead and develop the production team, monitor daily production activities, maintain and achieve quality and productivity goals, update operating procedures, address personnel issues, and promote safety objectives.

• High school diploma or GED required; an AA degree or higher is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing plant.
• Technical skills: Troubleshooting experience in electrical and mechanical equipment, ideally with knowledge of chemical processes.
• Leadership skills: Ability to manage, mentor, coach, and develop a team.
• Process Understanding: Ability to follow product and chemical flow, understanding processes involving pipes, valves, and chemical control.
• Safety Oversight Experience: Experience in safety oversight for your shift, including incident report writing.
• Software Skills: Intermediate level skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Math Skills: Strong math skills and aptitude.
