Currently we are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Installer to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Medical Equipment Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integration and installation of audiovisual and information technology equipment in healthcare settings. You will collaborate closely with our project managers and clients to deliver high-quality solutions that meet their unique needs and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Install computer mounting equipment in patient rooms along with a wide range of biomedical equipment, including medical monitors, imaging devices, and specialized medical devices, adhering to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Set up conference rooms, integrating AV equipment, video conferencing systems, and other technologies to enhance communication and collaboration.
• Install digital signage systems throughout the hospital, ensuring precise content display and timely updates to meet organizational requirements.
• Perform cable management for hospital workstations to ensure organized and secure cabling, optimizing workflow, and maintaining a professional appearance.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during installations, ensuring efficient resolution and minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including biomedical engineers, IT professionals, and healthcare staff, to coordinate installation activities to ensure a cohesive integration of equipment into existing systems.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance checks on installed equipment to ensure optimal functionality, accuracy, and usability.
• Provide training and technical support to end-users, including healthcare professionals, on the proper operation and maintenance of installed equipment and technologies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training preferred.
• Proven experience in AV equipment installation, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
• Proof of Covid vaccination is a requirement.
