Surveyor in Training

We are seeking a highly skilled Surveyor in Training to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Civil 3D and extensive experience in drafting plats, data processing and writing legal descriptions.

Responsibilities:

   1.    Utilize Civil 3D software to create and edit survey data, generate surface models, and develop alignments and profiles for oil and gas projects.
   2.    Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely completion of plat drafting tasks.
   3.    Interpret legal descriptions, boundary surveys, and topographic data to create precise and compliant plats.
   4.    Maintain drafting standards and adhere to industry regulations and project requirements.
   5.    Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to convey technical information and project updates.
   6.    Be able to process data with Trimble Business Center.
   7.    Proficiency in writing legal descriptions. 

Qualifications:

   1.    Proficiency in Civil 3D software with demonstrated experience in drafting plats.
   2.    Background in land surveying or related field with a strong understanding of surveying principles and techniques.
   3.    Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, setbacks, easements, and land-use considerations related to oil and gas or civil projects.

   4.    Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in plat drafting, legal boundaries, and property lines.
   5.    Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
   6.    Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS tools, and other relevant software is a plus.

   7.    Two to three years of consecutive and recent experience with TBC.
   8.    Must be a licensed SIT or acquiring their SIT within 1 year of employment.
