Job Title: Hospitality Concierge of Amherst
Reports to: Restaurant Manager
Schedule: P/T, days/hours vary as needed, weekend and holiday availability.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Embodies our Core Values at all times as described in the Employee Manual
- Act as the first point of contact between guests and LaBelle Winery
- Answer phones and respond to requests, fulfilling guest’s desires whenever possible
- Enter/edit reservations in Open Table according to guest’s requests; give restaurants notice about any special occasions, requests or conditions of guest reservation
- Manage all open table surveys
- Manage all open table mailing/email lists
- Memorize the menu and dietary options in order to make recommendations and answer questions for both food and wine
- Responsible for the inventory, printing, updating and cleanliness of all menus
- Master the origin story of LaBelle Winery and familiarize yourself with all business lines including Golf, Market, Events, Restaurants, Tasting Rooms, Wine Production, Special Public Events, Concert Series
- Answer phone live as much as possible and respond to phone messages throughout the day and respond to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
- Communicate efficiently across all departments to satisfy guest needs and ensure a coordinated, seamless experience for the guest
- Maintain and build email lists
- Train all host and retail associates
- Monitor all customer reviews and provide a comprehensive weekly spreadsheet to SLT members
- Fulfill guest special requests and facilitate special guest experiences
- Sell retail and wine, offering promotional deals.
- Issuing gift cards to guests
- Ensure all displays are up to date, neat and organized.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of customer service experience.
- Positive phone demeanor and superior written and verbal skills
- Must have a service orientated mindset and be capable of making every guest feel valued.
- Knowledge of basic office equipment including phone and printer.
- Exemplify strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Competent working with Apple, Microsoft, Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Possess a positive attitude
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of times
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in a food/wine environment
- Ability to climb stairs
