Job Description

Multiple Positions Available. We are looking for a licensed psychologist as well as behavioral health therapists including Marriage & Family Therapist, Professional Clinical Counselor, and/or Clinical Social Worker. See below for job descriptions.

Licensed Psychologist Job Description:

General Summary:

PsyD Licensed Therapists meet with clients of varying age ranges to identify problems in their lives, including but not limited to, emotional, mental, and behavioral issues. Through observation, interviews, and tests, the PsyD Licensed Therapist will diagnose any existing or potential disorders. Then, together with the client, the PsyD Licensed Therapist will formulate a program of treatment according to the client’s needs. PsyD Licensed Therapists will monitor their client’s progress on a regular basis to ensure that their needs are met by the course of action and will adjust if necessary.

Job Expectations (including but not limited to):

· Identify psychological, emotional or behavioral issues in clients.

· Diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorders in clients.

· Develop and implement treatment plans and therapeutic processes for clients.

· Help clients define goals and plan action to achieve personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.

· Monitor client process through regular meetings or sessions.

· Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries. Maintain accurate client records and files in accordance with applicable laws.

· Must be able to work with varying individuals/groups, including schools, social workers, doctors, law enforcement, and the court system.

· Conduct urinalysis screenings as needed.

· Act in a supervisory role for associate-level therapists as needed.

· Ability to work off-site at vendor clinics as needed.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/License/Certificate:

· Doctorate Degree (PsyD or PhD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology with APA-approved and completed psychology internship required

· Valid and current California state-issued license required

· Completed and up-to-date ethics and clinical exams required

· Current malpractice insurance required

· Current certification in CPR/First Aid required

· Completed supervisor-training a plus

Experience:

· Minimum 3,000 clinical hours

· Expert understanding of industry-standard disorders

· Demonstrated ability to diagnose and assist clients from varying backgrounds through their course of treatment

· Demonstrated ability to work with clients facing crises and trauma, including addiction

· Proven track record as a supervisor for associate-level therapists a plus

· Urinalysis experience a plus

· Varying age range experience a plus

Knowledge/Skills:

· Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to quickly build rapport, credibility and trust with clients

· Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality

· Ability to analyze and interpret clients’ emotional, behavioral, psychological well-being

· Communicate effectively orally, in writing, and through electronic medium

· Demonstrated effective crisis intervention skills

· Successful experience supporting clients of diverse academic, ethnic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds

· Thorough understanding of HIPAA and CFR 42 Part 2 laws

· Eligibility to supervise clinical psychology students, marriage and family therapist interns, or pre- and post-practicum students and interns a plus

Sitting for extended periods of time, lifting up to 10 pounds, ability to use computer

Licensed Therapist Job Description:

General Summary:

Masters-Level Therapists (including but not limited to LCSWs, LMFTs, and LPCCs) are trained mental health professionals who help clients, including families and couples, deal with relationship and behavioral issues. Therapists focus on individuals and their problems in context with their relationships, so not only is treatment focused on the individual, but on the people that the client has relationships with. The therapist will meet with clients of varying age ranges to identify feelings and behaviors. Through observation, tests, interviews, and discussions, the Therapist will develop and implement treatment plans and counsel clients. Therapists will monitor their client’s progress on a regular basis to ensure that their needs are met by the course of action, and will adjust if necessary.

Job Expectations (including but not limited to):

· Guide clients through crises, including psychological, emotional or behavioral issues.

· Diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorders in clients.

· Highlight problematic patterns and develop and implement treatment plans and processes for clients.

· Help clients define goals and plan action to achieve personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.

· Assist clients in obtaining various social and economic resources, as needed.

· Monitor client process through regular meetings or sessions, including one-on-one and in groups.

· Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries. Maintain accurate client records and files in accordance with applicable laws.

· Must be able to work with varying individuals/groups, including schools, social workers, doctors, law enforcement, and the court system.

· Conduct urine analysis screenings as needed.

· Act in a supervisory role for associate-level therapists as needed, if required training is complete.

· Ability to work off-site at vendor clinics as needed.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Associate Therapist Job Description:

General Summary:

Associate Masters-Level Therapists (including but not limited to ACSWs, AMFTs, and APCCs) will work with their supervisory therapist to help clients, including families and couples, deal with relationship and behavioral issues. Associates will focus on individuals and their problems in context with their relationships, so not only is treatment focused on the individual, but on the people that the client has relationships with. Associates will work with their supervisory therapist to identify feelings and behaviors within their clients of varying ages. Through observation, tests, interviews, and discussions, the Associate will consult with their supervisory therapist to develop and implement treatment plans and counsel clients. Associates will monitor their client’s progress on a regular basis while consulting with their supervisory therapist to ensure that their needs are met by the course of action and will adjust if necessary.

Job Expectations (including but not limited to):

· Work with supervisory therapist to:

o guide clients through crises, including psychological, emotional or behavioral issues;

o diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorders in clients; and

o highlight problematic patterns and develop and implement treatment plans and processes for clients.

· Help clients define goals and plan action to achieve personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.

· Assist clients in obtaining various social and economic resources, as needed.

· Monitor client process through regular meetings or sessions, including one-on-one and in groups.

Education/License/Certificate:

· Masters Degree in related field

· Previous experience in a clinical setting required

· Intermediate understanding of industry-standard disorders

· Demonstrated ability to diagnose and assist clients from varying backgrounds through their course of treatment preferred

· Demonstrated ability to work with clients facing crises and trauma, including addiction preferred

· Demonstrated ability to work with clients in group setting preferred

· Urinalysis experience a plus

Knowledge/Skills:

· Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to quickly build rapport, credibility and trust with clients

· Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality

· Ability to analyze and interpret clients’ emotional, behavioral, psychological well-being with assistance as needed
