BANKRUPTCY PARALEGAL
Dal Lago Law is now accepting applications from bankruptcy paralegals interested in working for a growing law practice. We are looking for bright, energetic, and experienced candidates whose primary practice involves bankruptcy law.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to enhance their career by:
• Assisting attorneys, staff, and other paralegals with the intake and processing of documents required to draft bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and statements of financial affairs.
• Corresponding with clients, creditors and bankruptcy court staff professionals.
• Independently maintaining files and assisting lawyers in guiding clients through the bankruptcy process.
• Guiding clients in preparing monthly operating reports in Chapter 11 matters.
• Other miscellaneous legal tasks related to bankruptcy as well as corporate law matters.

To be considered, applicants should have the following qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bankruptcy law paralegal, whether in private practice or otherwise.
• Knowledge of PC and related software, including MS Word and Outlook.

• Proficiency in navigating through applicable legal websites and software including PACER and the Court’s CM/ECF online filing system, as well as Clio and NextChapter.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with clients and legal personnel, in person, via email, and on the telephone.
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail, particularly regarding Court deadlines and other calendar entries.
• Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
• Must be able to manage demanding case load.

• Board certified paralegals are preferred, but not mandatory.
