Job DescriptionCompany Description
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team! Must be familiar with precision machined parts. Use of micrometer and calipers required. Must be able to read and understand drawings and MIL-Specs. Knowledge of ISO/AS9100 procedures helpful.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products to insure conformance to drawings and specifications
- Determine quality and reliability standards, verifying specifications with engineering if required
- Accept or reject products based on specifications and standards
- Provide documentation to indicate disposition of material, process, or fabricated part
- Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
- Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
- Participate in routine visual inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with coworkers
