Golf Maintenance Grounds and Pro Shop Positions

Plumas Pines Golf Resort is hiring for the 2024 season.

Grounds Maintenance

• Maintain and care for the golf course grounds, including mowing, watering, edging, and fertilizing.
• Assisting with course set-up for daily play, including flag placement and tee box preparation.
• Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Operate light motorized equipment & utility vehicles on the course. No previous experience necessary.

Pro Shop

• Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the Pro Shop, including stocking merchandise and assisting customers.
• Assisting with Pro Shop operations, such as checking in golfers, handling payments, and answering customer inquiries.
• Help organize and execute tournaments, events, and leagues as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks in the Pro Shop, such as cleaning and restocking supplies.
• Assist with player services, such as golf club rentals, cart rentals, and managing tee time reservations.
• Uphold the golf course's standards for customer service, professionalism, and safety at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working on a golf course or in a Pro Shop preferred.
• Knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and course maintenance practices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects as needed.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
