Position Summary:
Salpointe Catholic High School is looking for an experienced program director with a proven track record of creating and implementing innovative youth programs. This position will manage the wellness program to ensure the holistic well-being and development of our 1300 students. The best applicant for this position will enjoy working with high school students, have an interest in comprehensive wellness programming and have a strong desire to work in a collaborative and supportive community.
Duties include:
Develop a holistic wellness program, based on eight dimensions of wellness and according to the stated philosophy and goals of the program
Be a role model for healthy lifestyle practices
Demonstrate a passion for wellness in all its facets (physical, emotional, spiritual, social, environmental, intellectual, vocational, financial)
Create daily programming and provide educational tools for the students
Work to increase student participation in wellness activities
Develop and maintain partnerships with external community agencies and resources
Coordinate and facilitate group activities and workshops
Oversee budgeting and financial management
Develop promotion and publicity plans for the wellness program throughout the school
Monitor participation to ensure proper detailed programing
Conduct biannual surveys to assure that the program is achieving its goals
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to participant progress and program outcomes
Assemble data for use in assessment and planning
Teach two classes daily, ie. Yoga, nutrition, meditation between 7:30am and 3:30pm

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
Proven track record as a successful program director, program manager, or project manager with a minimum of five years prior experience
Experience working with teenagers
Solid employment history with verifiable references
AZ State Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one
Proven leadership abilities
Demonstrates experience preparing information to present to groups, making presentations to large and small audiences, and facilitating meetings
Previous experience and skills to develop and organize educational and publicity materials
Experience with collecting, assembling and analyzing data, preparing reports, monitoring progress
Ability to work harmoniously with both internal and external stakeholders
Outstanding interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Demonstrate maturity, professionalism, confidence and a strong work ethic
