Pump Mechanical Engineer - Full Time - Bridgeport (NJ), United States

Compensation: $80K -$95K (DOE)

Your Role: As a Pump Mechanical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our engineering efforts, playing a key role in shaping the future. Your expertise will drive the development of groundbreaking mechanical systems that will set new industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide top-tier customer service and technical support for complex pump systems.
• Lead mechanical design improvements and hydraulic enhancements to optimize performance.
• Conduct in-depth vibration and pressure boundary analyses to ensure system integrity.
• Engage in metallurgical problem-solving to address corrosion and erosion challenges.
• Optimize plant systems and rotating equipment interfaces for peak efficiency.
• Deliver onsite support to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with sales teams, providing technical insights and training to enhance their capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, complemented by hands-on experience.
• 3- 8 years’ experience in the field, with a strong preference for pump systems and hydraulic applications.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Resilient under pressure, with a proven track record of delivering results.
• Proficient in the latest Microsoft software, with SAP and Gelco reporting as a plus.
• A valid US Driver’s License for business-related travel.
