Director of Project Management

Serpa Packaging Solutions is looking for a Director of Project Manager to join our growing organization! As the Director of Project Manager with Serpa, you will partner and work with different department Managers in planning, monitoring, and directing the execution of each stage in a project’s “life cycle.” This leader will also work closely with customers and company personnel of each department involved to ensure proper communication and execution of project milestones. The director will also lead and mentor the team of project managers.

Requirements:

• Responsible for training, leadership and mentoring the project management team, while supporting their ongoing efforts to ensure the projects are on schedule.
• Develop detailed project schedule plans, with project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Managing capacity planning software to ensure company’s goals can be met.
• Oversee project schedules, testing materials, onsite visits and design reviews with customers.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
• Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of customer projects.
• Responsible for escalating capacity issues to management in a timely manager to maintain project deadlines.
• Lead implementation of capacity and scheduling software

Desired Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in project engineering/management.
• Experience in the Industrial Technology/Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing sector desired, but not required.
• Packaging equipment / Robotic industry experience preferred, but not required.
• Solid Mechanical aptitude ability
• Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relations with customers and company personnel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Solid organizational skills in attention to detail, scheduling, and in multi-tasking
• Experience and skilled proficiency with Microsoft Project and Excel desired
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $130,000
