CMM Programmer

General Job Description: Will be responsible for programming and dimensional inspection with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and 3D Scanners. Document and report results and explain methods used to clients. Teach and coach others how to program CMMs. Necessary skills include part print reading and interpretation for dimensional inspection. Experience with GD&T, 3D CAD, Excel and dimensional inspection. A self driven individual with excellent organizational skills, with the ability to solve technical problems.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

· CMM Programming

· Dimensional Inspection

· Teach and demonstrate to others how to program a CMM

· Answer tech support questions related to CMM Programming

Qualifications for the job:

Education: 2 Year Degree

Experience: -CAD (i.e. Solid Works, Pro-E, Polyworks); CMMs; Print reading and understanding; GD Excel

Exceptional communication skills
