We are seeking an experienced Equity Research Associate to join our team and cover the Machinery, Industrials, and Distribution sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of these industries, a proven track record of financial modeling and analysis, and exceptional communication and presentation skills.
**Responsibilities:**
* Conduct in-depth research and analysis of companies in the Machinery, Industrials, and Distribution sectors
* Build and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, earnings, and cash flow
* Provide actionable investment recommendations and insights to portfolio managers and clients
* Monitor industry trends, company news, and economic data
* Stay abreast of the latest accounting and regulatory developments
* Prepare and present research reports, presentations, and client updates
* Collaborate with other analysts and portfolio managers to develop investment strategies
* Assist with due diligence and special projects
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in equity research, preferably in the Machinery, Industrials, or Distribution sectors
* Strong understanding of financial modeling and analysis techniques
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
* Knowledge of industry-specific software, such as Bloomberg or FactSet
