Job Description

Are you ready to be the architect of our workforce in an exciting, brand-new manufacturing venture? We’re searching for a dynamic and visionary Senior Human Resources Manager to spearhead HR strategies and shape the future of our team in our upcoming facility in Georgetown,TX.

Your role will include implementation of employee pay, benefits, recruitment, hiring, retention, legal compliance, and all HR programs and services. You will serve as a resource and consultant to managers, employees, on personnel issues, while developing a spirit of cooperation and teamwork, to make a positive impact on the company and our people.

Responsibilities:

Includes but not limited to:

  • Providing accurate and timely payroll and insurance benefits to our employees.
  • Providing excellent customer service to our employees and business partners (insurance benefits, pension benefits, 401K benefits, employment verifications, wellness benefits, uniforms, safety glasses, safety shoes, housing for visitors, lease car program for commercial team, short-term and long-term disability insurance, Family Medical Leave events, and special event and meeting coordination).
  • Providing support to payroll, benefits, and hiring specialist when there are questions and issues that arise with managers, employees, and suppliers of services, which are non-routine and require additional analysis, legal advice, or leadership involvement.
  • Acting as administrator for pension plan and 401K plan. Actively set up retiree pensions.
  • Processing and paying out all incentive program payments.
  • Providing support, and direction to CEO, COO, CFO, Planning Director, and other managers and supervisors on policy questions, proposed changes, and special requests.
  • Providing direction to all on disciplinary issues, including investigations, requiring accurate and timely documentation, to support termination of employment.
  • Providing support to finance team and auditors for multiple audits (internal/external).
  • Maintaining compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and reporting.
  • Analyzing trends in compensation and benefits to maintain competitive pay and incentive programs. Work with leadership team to attract and retain most talented employees.
  • Leading the process of annual employee evaluations and performance recognition.
  • Identify training needs, coordinate training programs, and promote continuous learning and development opportunities for employees.
  • Supporting HR team at HQ (monthly report out, headcount, special projects).

 

Minimum Qualifications or Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in human resources manager experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to improve operational effectiveness while reducing costs.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate many projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to understand all operations of the plant and how each impacts the other.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems
  • Proven interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ experience as HR Manger
  • 3 years’ experience on Manufacturing Production Floor.
  • Bilingual Spanish and English Skills (Reading / Writing / Speaking)
  • A Strong understanding of SAP
