Capital Contractor Services is a state licensed General Contractor who has been serving the South Florida community for approximately 30 years. We are looking for a Lead Estimator to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
-Responsible for all aspects of bidding a project including labor, time, and material requirements to determine overall project costs
-Prepare estimate and budget costs for projects by studying plans and specifications
-Research and be up to date on the cost of items such as materials, labor and equipment
-Schedules meetings with clients, site managers and staff
-Process paperwork and travel to building sites as required
-Attend pre-bids as required
-Stays up to date with building and safety codes and improvements in construction
-Obtain quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified timeframe
-Build and maintain relationships within the industry
Qualifications:
-Experience estimating Exterior Painting, Waterproofing and Restoration
-Experience estimating Interior Renovations, Construction
-Paint and building repair product knowledge
-Knowledge of swing stage rigging and scaffolding
-Ability to read and interpret architectural plans
-Determining job take-offs to accurately calculate job costs
-Understands coatings and their applications
-Strong mathematical and analytical skills
