Senior Management of Procurement

Summary:

The Senior Manager of Procurement will be responsible for implementing the necessary purchasing processes, metrics, and controls to ensure proper inventory levels. Additionally, this position will be responsible for maintaining existing vendor relationships, sourcing, cost management and ensuring supply security. This position can be located onsite in Little Rock, AR or fully remote.

Essential Functions:

• Drive centralized purchasing processes that allow for improved control while building the necessary infrastructure for our rapidly growing company.
• Champion Supply Chain Redundancy and Risk Management initiatives in establishing approved sources for key material items.
• Monitor usage and forecasts to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Ensure planning parameters are clearly defined and maintained to optimize our newly implemented MRP system.
• Ensure contract compliance with current and future supply agreements.
• Creation of department scorecards that effectively track department KPI’s.
• Participate in cross functional teams supporting new product introductions, supplier change management, and business continuity initiatives.
• Participate in S&OP process to effectively communicate supply challenges and mitigations.
• Maintain a good working relationship with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support the organization’s People & Culture initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or equivalent
• 10+ years’ experience in Procurement with pharmaceutical and/or 503B experience preferred
• 5+ years in management/supervisory experience in Procurement or related field.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills are a must.
• Effective leadership to build and maximize the efficiency of a team by encouraging a supportive and collaborative environment.
• Proven experience in sourcing processes with an understanding of sourcing methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
