Job description

Accurate Logistics is looking for experienced pharmaceutical delivery professionals with full size cargo vans. You will be responsible for the safe, secure, and timely transportation of prescription medications, pharmaceutical products, medical supplies, and related healthcare materials from pharmacies, distribution centers, and healthcare facilities to customers and authorized locations. This opportunity requires excellent attention to detail, professionalism, reliability, and strict adherence to company procedures and applicable regulations.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Safely pick up, transport, and deliver pharmaceuticals and medical supplies according to assigned routes and schedules.
  • Verify packages, delivery addresses, quantities, and required documentation before and during deliveries.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of medications and other sensitive products while in transit.
  • Obtain signatures or other required proof of delivery and accurately document completed deliveries.
  • Follow all company policies regarding patient privacy, medication security, chain of custody, and handling procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate temperature-control procedures for medications requiring special storage or transportation conditions.
  • Communicate professionally with pharmacies, healthcare providers, patients, caregivers, and company personnel.
  • Report delays, damaged packages, missing items, delivery issues, or other irregularities promptly.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and keep the delivery vehicle clean, secure, and properly maintained.
  • Handle confidential patient and prescription information in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
  • Complete delivery logs, electronic records, and other required paperwork accurately.


Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record. Plus points only.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to meet scheduled delivery times required by the customer.
  • Previous delivery, courier, pharmacy, healthcare, or customer-service experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry packages, typically up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Must have proof of vehicle and cargo insurance.
  • Willing to download delivery app.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience transporting pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, laboratory specimens, or other sensitive materials.
  • Familiarity with temperature-controlled deliveries and chain-of-custody procedures.
  • Knowledge of local roads and efficient route planning.
  • Experience using delivery-routing or proof-of-delivery applications.
