Job Title: Material Processor/Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a material processor to join our team. The successful candidate will need to work from written and verbal instruction. They will need to be able to operate material processing machinery in a fast-paced workshop environment. They will have initiative, be trainable and eager to learn, and be a team player.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints for material processing.
• Use specialized machinery for raw material processing including:
  1. Metal cutting band saws.
  2. 250-ton press brake
  3. Burn table
  4. Metal punching machine
  5. Metal shear machine
  6. Angle Roller
  7. Plate Roller
• Assess finished parts and components to identify errors.
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing appropriate PPE.
• Maintain and monitor equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

• Read blueprints.
• Read and understand measurements.
• Operate a forklift.
• Any other assigned task that is necessary to process raw material into parts for fabrication.

Competencies:

• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.

• Must have experience with operating heavy machinery and processing materials.
