Job Description
Overview

P150 was seeded in 2022 as a community of 300+ of the most accomplished philanthropy advisors. The goal is to break down silos and foster collaboration amongst this unique and influential group of leaders. As a result, P150 aims to move more philanthropic capital, more impactfully, towards efforts that can change the world.

The Head of Collaboration and Content will play a critical role in accelerating the impact of P150 members by driving the exchange of knowledge, insights, and resources within the network. Your primary responsibility will be to transform the wealth of information generated from the P150 community into actionable content that empowers our advisors to better serve their clients. Additionally, you will spearhead the design and facilitation of events and programs with P150 members.

P150 is a fiscally sponsored project of the Digital Harbor Foundation. Through a portfolio of projects focused on developing leadership within communities, we support those closest to challenges to take deliberate actions based on a design thinking approach, backed by data analysis, grounded in a practice of collective impact, and driven by a commitment to racial equity.

Experience Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience designing programs, facilitating gatherings, and designing knowledge products and communications for different audiences.
  • A proven track record of championing equity and inclusivity within the communities they lead.
  • Experience and motivation to work in an entrepreneurial, start-up, remote context.
  • You are encouraged to apply if you have experience working in social impact and philanthropy, with philanthropy advisors or philanthropy professionals, or in a similar field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and across lines of difference.
  • Ability to design and facilitate engaging and productive workshops and collaboration spaces.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Operational mindset and detail orientation.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of philanthropic trends, strategies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency using Google’s business Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc), and Airtable.

  • Mobilize member attendance to ensure strong engagement in events.

2. CURATE KNOWLEDGE + CONTENT

  • Collect and synthesize key insights, best practices, and learnings from working groups, meetings, and shared resources.
  • Develop materials, toolkits, and other resources that make the collective knowledge of the community available and actionable for members.
  • Create written content, including case studies and articles, to share insights and thought leadership with the broader community.

3. MANAGE COMMUNICATIONS

  • Maintain regular cadence of email communications to member base (ex: monthly digests, reminders about upcoming events, etc).
  • Manage P150 inbox, fielding questions and comments from members and directing messages to appropriate team members.
  • Make updates to the P150 website, ensuring easy-to-access information and resources.
  • Uphold and refine brand guidelines in all P150 communications.

4. BUILD COMMUNITY

  • Add value to members: Based on member interests and needs, refer members to P150 programs and resources to accelerate their work.
  • Advance equity: Define and implement initiatives to increase the diversity of the community and advance a sense of belonging for all members, with a particular focus on historically marginalized communities.
