Reports To: Member Experience Administration Supervisor/Member Experience Manager

Salary Grade(s): 5, 6

***This is an in-office position.


Function:

To assist the Administrative Supervisor and Member Experience Manager with the daily operational activities related to the Branch and Administrative Center. To perform all responsibilities of the position in support of our Core 4 Values.

Position Requirements:

  • GENERAL:
  1. Displays professional conduct while interacting with others
  2. Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness while completing tasks
  3. Shows initiative and seeks additional work/responsibility to support operations
  • EXPERIENCE: Customer service or clerical experience preferred.
  • EDUCATION: High School Degree or equivalent


Duties:

  • Provides polite and helpful service, through multiple channels, to employees and members of credit union.
  • Ensure confidentiality of security procedures, account information, and transaction processing.
  • Follows check hold policy, utilizing internal procedures to determine if item can be negotiated or further review is required.
  • Adheres to fraud prevention measures and cash handling procedures.
  • Complies with BSA reporting requirements.
  • Follows credit union procedures and policies.
  • Reports unusual transactions to supervisor.
  • Supports our Core 4 Values.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process member transactions while effectively utilizing features of Teller Capture.
  • Applies basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to navigate credit union systems, key to daily functions of the position.
  • Opens, sorts, date-stamps, organizes, and disseminates all incoming mail/faxes, and correspondence to appropriate staff.
  • Assists with preparation/sorting of outgoing/incoming courier bags.
  • Processes, notes accounts, and contacts members for returned mail, plastics, and check orders.
  • Folds and stuffs mail.
  • Provides verification of scanned documents.
  • Prepares correspondence relative to routine mail inquiries.
  • Processes transactions from other departments at Administrative Center.
  • Completes pending work of a routine nature.
  • Assists in gathering documents from everyday member requests.
  • Unboxes and sorts incoming supply deliveries.
  • Basic verification of completed Ops work for Records Office (confirmation of full account number on documents and sorting work for bins).
  • Provides greeter desk coverage.
  • Assists with organizing Operations Department records.
  • Checks supply inventory and restocks Operations’ cabinets.
  • Preliminary review of some reports.
  • May provide proofreading support of Foogle instructions for typos, clarity, etc.
  • Provides clerical support throughout the Administrative Center.
  • Provides support as an FSR at branch locations as needed.
  • Provides other credit union support as needed of similar complexity.

Advanced Responsibilities:

  • Processes account change requests to include change of address, POD, certificates of deposit, etc.
  • Processes onsite and mailed new account applications.
  • Assists with CRM events (JHA call backs).
  • Processes account verification.

Adheres to regulations and organizational policies, maintaining awareness and knowledge required to perform the duties of the position including all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Lending, and Information Security.
