Customer Service Representative - Logistics

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The role of Logistics Associate is central to our organization and serves on the front lines to help maintain our high level of supply chain. This position requires good organizational skills to handle several aspects of procurement and distribution. The ideal candidate must be able to work accurately with great attention to detail, processing tasks quickly and efficiently. They must also be good communicators, as this position will manage inventory, shipping, as well as coordinate with other departments within the Company. The candidate must possess good clerical skills, together with computing and data entry experience.

The candidate must be able to work well individually or with a team in a fast-paced environment and is expected to demonstrate the highest degree of integrity, honesty, accountability, resiliency, and teamwork to co-workers and customers.

Logistics Associate Responsibilities:

• Order, track, and report rough to finished goods (FG) inventory and deliveries
• Fielding calls from clients regarding orders/shipments
• Ensure accuracy of all FG inventories and maintenance of inventory database
• Responsible for receiving and/or shipping of high value products
• Report shipping complaints, lost items, damages
• Book inbound and outbound shipments and ensure both quality and quantity of FG
• Create packing lists and update shipment information in database
• Coordinate all shipments for all locations
• Organize files both manually and electronically
• Review and approve shipping Invoices from third party couriers
• Ensure shipping carrier requirements and regulations are met
• Notify relevant parties on shipment tracking and status
• Update shipping system with rates, surcharges, and service standards
• Work with managers and team members to implement new strategies and initiatives
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes
• Inform management of ongoing process issues

Logistics Associate Requirements

• Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills are required.
• 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate or advanced in MS Excel is required.
• Proven work experience in a manufacturing environment, supply chain, logistics, or equivalent is preferred
• Minimum education – High School diploma or equivalent; Prior service in the Military is highly welcomed.
