Job DescriptionCompany Description
XTech is seeking to employ a full time Mechanical Engineer to become a part of our highly experienced technology development team. The acceptable candidate will be required to perform a variety of mechanical engineering and interrelated tasks during the development of a novel suite of industry breakthrough technologies. Specific skill acquisition training will be available. Breakthrough technologies. Specific skill acquisition training will be available.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical equipment design, analysis, modeling, and testing
- Developing third party vendor specifications and management
- Oversee manufacture various component parts
- Oversee/produce drawings for the manufacture of various components
- Review safety protocols
- Document design narratives & engineering analysis
- Produce Standard Operating Procedures for various processes
Qualifications:
- An appropriate engineering degree
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience with 3D modeling software
- Previous experience in mechanical, structural, or electrical engineering projects
- Familiarity with designing for manufacturability
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple and diverse projects
Additional Beneficial Experience/Skills/Familiarity:
- Familiarity with manual and / or CNC processes and equipment.
- Familiarity with basic and / or advanced electricity or power electronics.
- Familiarity with basic and / or advanced chemistry.
- Familiarity with basic or advanced fluid dynamics.
- Electrical Wiring
- FEA/CFD Analysis
- 3D Modeling
- Machine Tool Operation/operator – manual - CNC
- CNC Programming
- Cad drawings
- Manufacturing Design
