**Job Description: Early Intervention Specialist for Autism**

Pay:

$500- bi-weekly salary

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Early Intervention Specialist for a three-year-old child diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of autism and proven experience in implementing effective intervention strategies tailored to the unique needs of children on the spectrum.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the child's strengths, needs, and developmental goals.
  • Conduct regular assessments to track progress and adjust intervention strategies accordingly.
  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to the child in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to intervention.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and interventions, such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), to promote skill acquisition and independence.
  • Maintain detailed records of sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and best practices in autism intervention and early childhood development.

**Qualifications:**

  • Track record of working with special education, applied behavior analysis, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Strong knowledge of developmental milestones, behavioral principles, and intervention techniques relevant to autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs and their families.
  • Up-to-date credentials, certifications, or licensure relevant to the field of autism intervention (e.g., BCBA certification, RBT certification).
  • Proven track record of implementing successful intervention strategies and achieving measurable outcomes with children on the autism spectrum.

**Additional Requirements:**

  • Ability to pass a background check and meet any other regulatory requirements for working with children.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, based on the child's schedule and needs.
  • Access to reliable transportation for travel to different locations as needed.
