Machine Operator

Location: Allen, TX

Shift: 6am-3pm Monday to Friday.

Pay: $18-$21/hr

Paid weekly

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Client’s team as a Packaging Machine Operator. This role involves the operation and basic maintenance of packaging machinery to ensure our products are ready for distribution. The ideal candidate should possess a keen attention to detail and have the ability to troubleshoot minor issues effectively. Responsibilities include setting up, maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting the machine, as well as assembly and disassembly for scheduled maintenance. Will manage the daily duties and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

Responsibilities:

• Set up machines for production cycles.


• Ensure proper operation of equipment with minimal downtime.


• Assemble and disassemble machinery.


• Make minor adjustments using hand tools as necessary.


• Address any unsafe or unclean conditions and report safety issues.


• Control and adjust machine settings.


• Feed materials or parts to semi-automated machines.


• Inspect parts with precision tools and conduct periodic machine tests.


• Troubleshoot issues during the shift.


• Monitor output to identify machine-related defects or flaws.


• Maintain records of approved and defective units or final products.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.


• 1 + years of production/packaging machine operation in a manufacturing environment.


• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.


• Knowledge of cGMPs.


• Good communication skills.


• Able to work individually and as a team.
