Dispatcher
This position is great for those who enjoy a challenge and want to develop their problem solving skills. The fast paced and time sensitive work environment is a great place to hone your excellent customer service skills.
Compensation: $23.00
Location: Reston, VA
Schedule:
- Week 1
- Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun: 1:00AM - 11:00AM
- Wed, Thurs: Off
- Week 2
- Wed, Thurs: 1:00AM - 11:00AM
- Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun: Off
- Will average to about 35 hour/week
Responsibilities:
- Planning and assigning routes
- Tracking and monitoring drivers
- Tracking and monitoring airline flight arrival times
- Identifying potential delays and adjusting routes as needed
- Handling customer service calls and emails, including booking requests
- Booking transportation requests
Ensuring we provide customers with on-time transportation is the main responsibility of this role.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a position that required customer service and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and provide excellent customer service.
- Availability to work weekends
- Ability to troubleshoot independently as well as collaborate with a team.
- Ability work towards a deadline with a sense of urgency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of DC Metropolitan Area
