Picker, Packer, Filing Clerk

Position Overview: We are seeking a versatile individual to join our team as a stockroom picker/packer/filing clerk in a full-time (only) position (Office hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday). In this role, you will play a vital part in the smooth operation of our distribution process by accurately picking and packing orders and maintaining organized and efficient filing systems for important documents.

Responsibilities:

·         Order Picking: Accurately pick products (small items) from designated locations in the stockroom based on the order sheets or digital inventory systems.

·         Packing: Carefully pack orders, ensuring products are properly protected and labeled for shipment.

·         Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet our company's standards before packing.

·         Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating stock levels and reporting discrepancies to management.

·         Organization: Maintain organized filing systems for documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and shipping records.

·         Filing: file documents promptly and accurately, ensuring easy retrieval when needed.

·         Communication: Collaborate effectively with other team members and communicate any issues or concerns regarding order, inventory, or filing systems to supervisors.

·         Shipping: Prepare shipments for outgoing orders, including labeling packages and coordinating with shipping carriers for pickup.

·         Adhere to Procedures: Follow company procedures and protocols for handling and storing products, as well as maintaining filing systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

·         Previous experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment is preferred but not required.

·         Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking, packing, and filing.

·         Basic computer skills.

·         Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds.

·         Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

·         Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

·         Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
