Local manufacturing company in Tonawanda looking for a production lead!!
1st shift hours 6am-2:30pm + OT
Pay varies based on experience - $18-21/hr

REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have 3+ years of machine operation and ideally carpentry background
-Must have previous lead or supervision experience
-Must have ability to read blueprints and use hand/power tools
-Previous experience training other employees preferred
-Must be able to perform physical aspects of the job - lifting up to 50lbs, standing for long periods of time, etc.
-Good work ethic and attitude required
JOB DUTIES:
-Assemble crates and pallets as needed per specifications
-Monitor machines and co-workers as needed
-Train other employees on aspects of the job such as blueprints reading, material handling, assembling, etc.
-Maintain material levels at machine for each production run
-Track KPIs and other performance indicators
-Help production supervisor with daily tasks
-Run other machines and perform material handling as needed
-Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times
