Base Pay: $20.00 per hour
Day Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00am - 3:30pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Associates in our mold shop will perform a variety of duties in a manufacturing setting to build, maintain and repair pouring and painting molds that are utilized in our production sites across the country to construct stone veneer. The ideal candidate will start framing molds and train for additional duties and responsibilities as outlined below.
- Ensure safe work environment for self and others
- Preparing and pouring master molds
- Making frame boxes for the molds
- Cutting wood in specified dimensions and assembling boxes including angles
- Using air tools, table saws, etc.
- Preparing and mixing latex for molds
- Applying layers of latex paint to build the mold
- Painting or pouring molds
- Setting up conveyors for production as needed to prepare for the next day
- Pouring, de-molding, and cleaning of molds
- Quality control and packaging of finished product
- General clean up and preventative maintenance activities

- Previous experience building wood boxes from sheet wood
- Must be able to effectively use table saw, miter saw, tape measure
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment
- Must wear proper protective PPE such as safety glasses, ear protection and steel-toe boot
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand the duration of shift
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
- The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Work Environment
- May work near moving mechanical parts and equipment and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock
- Employees are regularly exposed to various outdoor temperatures related to heat and cold
- The noise level in the work environment varies based upon work location
