Responsibilities
- Coding invoices with correct account numbers and utilizing Quickbooks to enter invoices and print checks on a weekly basis.
- Keep track, process and reconcile payments and expenditures, invoices, statements, checks, etc., in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure correct approval, sorting, coding and matching of invoices/receipts.
- Collect and deposit rent payments while maintaining accurate record keeping and corresponding as necessary when payment discrepancies occur.
- Checkbook reconciliation
- Maintain customer and tenant files.
- State and county document prep as required by industry.
- Other bookkeeping tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Periodically be available as a point of contact to new and existing customers calling or coming to our office, offering pleasant communication and basic retail information including scheduling appointments, sending and receiving e-mail.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Quickbooks
- MS Excel spreadsheet data entry and manipulation
- MS Word
- Ability to multi-task while being able to prioritize and address the most critical and pressing demands first
- Proven working experience as an accounts payable accounts receivable clerk or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
- Data entry skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Organizing and prioritizing
- Ability to process and follow-up
- Confidentiality
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Part Time. Approximately 15 hours per week. Monday - Thursday. Work times are negotiable.
Retail center for modular and manufactured homes.
