Adecco has partnered with a leading aerospace manufacturing organization in Rochester, New Hampshire to identify an experienced IT Leader. This direct hire opportunity is responsible for overseeing all site-level IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems administration, ERP support, and technology strategy.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary technology leader for the facility, partnering closely with local operations and global IT teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient technology solutions that support business growth and manufacturing excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys balancing strategic leadership with technical execution in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all site IT operations, infrastructure management, and technology initiatives for the Rochester manufacturing facility.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between local leadership and domestic/international corporate IT teams.
  • Implement and maintain corporate IT policies, procedures, cybersecurity standards, and disaster recovery programs.
  • Ensure compliance with company cybersecurity requirements, Minimum Security Rules (MSR), and IT governance standards.
  • Manage and support network infrastructure, including servers, routing, switching, proxy services, and security systems.
  • Oversee ERP and manufacturing application support, including SAP, EPROD, and other critical business systems.
  • Direct and mentor Help Desk and Systems Administration personnel, ensuring responsive support across all operating hours.
  • Monitor system performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead technology upgrades and modernization efforts.
  • Manage backup systems, data archival processes, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain IT roadmaps, budgets, and technology investment strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure technology solutions effectively support manufacturing and business requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and evaluate IT team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Lead IT projects, infrastructure deployments, and process improvement initiatives in coordination with corporate IT teams.
  • Promote compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and HSE initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • 5–10 years of experience in network administration, systems administration, or enterprise IT support.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team management experience preferred.
  • ERP administration experience required; SAP and EPROD experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Windows Client environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, systems architecture, and IT operations.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing technologies, including ERP, MES, PLM, SPC, or similar production systems.
  • Demonstrated success managing IT projects, budgets, and vendor relationships.
  • Experience developing technical specifications and supporting new equipment, software, or systems implementations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with global and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical support when required.
