We're seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead our enterprise IT infrastructure and operations. About the Role
As the IT Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of IT services across multiple business locations, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient technology operations. You'll lead our Help Desk, Systems Administration, and Network Administration teams while partnering closely with business leaders, engineering, manufacturing, cybersecurity, and supply chain to ensure technology enables business success.

What You'll Do
  • Lead enterprise IT operations across multiple locations, ensuring reliable and secure technology services.
  • Manage and mentor Help Desk, Systems Administration, and Network Administration teams.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for critical infrastructure incidents and service disruptions.
  • Drive Service Desk performance through KPI management, SLA achievement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee enterprise infrastructure including:
    • Windows Server
    • Active Directory
    • Microsoft 365
    • Azure
    • VMware virtualization
    • Storage and backup solutions
    • Cloud services
  • Manage enterprise networking including LAN/WAN, wireless, VPNs, firewalls, and remote access.
  • Lead patch management, system upgrades, disaster recovery, business continuity, and endpoint lifecycle management.
  • Partner with Information Security to support cybersecurity compliance, vulnerability remediation, and audit readiness.
  • Manage IT assets, software licensing, technology vendors, managed service providers (MSPs), and support contracts.
  • Participate in IT budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
  • Champion automation, ITIL best practices, operational excellence, and continuous service improvement.
  • Ensure technology effectively supports manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and corporate operations.

What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure and operations experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
  • Experience leading Help Desk, Systems Administration, and Network Administration functions in a multi-site enterprise environment.
  • Strong expertise with:
    • Microsoft Windows Server
    • Active Directory
    • Microsoft 365
    • Azure
    • VMware
    • Enterprise storage and backup
    • Cloud technologies
  • Experience managing enterprise networking technologies including switching, routing, wireless, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), ticketing systems, SLA management, and operational metrics.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory frameworks including:
    • NIST SP 800-171
    • CMMC
    • DFARS
    • ITAR
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • ITIL Certification
  • Microsoft, Cisco (CCNA), Security+, Network+, CISSP, or CISM certifications
  • Experience supporting Microsoft GCC High/Government Cloud environments
  • Manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or government contracting experience
  • ERP and manufacturing systems experience
  • Experience leading infrastructure automation and operational improvement initiatives
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and managed service providers
