Our hospice is looking for outstanding CNAs, or LNAs to join our team. $$ Sign on bonus.
Looking for Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Perform personal care needs as assigned
- Meet safety needs of patient and using equipment safely and properly
- Giving personal care, including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linen as often as assigned.
- Assisting in dressing and undressing patients as assigned
- Providing proper care and observation of patient’s skin to prevent breakdown of tissue
- Assessing and reporting on patient’s condition and significant changes to the Case Manager.
- Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly, as assigned
- Adhering to the organization’s documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct.
- Participate in quality assessment performance improvement teams and activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
