We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join a leading provider of high quality engineering components and solutions in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities:
- Expand customer base by acquiring new clients and projects.
- Utilize robust technical skills and a mechanical aptitude to effectively engage with clients.
- Travel domestically and internationally, with frequent trips to California, particularly Sacramento and the Bay Area.
- Collaborate with a small sales team, engaging with engineering and procurement markets.
- Cultivate strong interpersonal relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy.
- Apply marketing expertise to bolster sales initiatives.
- Acquire in-depth product knowledge to facilitate effective product selling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Demonstrated track record of success in sales.
- Proficient technical skills and a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally, with regular visits to California (Sacramento & Bay Area).
- Experience collaborating within a small sales team.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Previous exposure to global sales strategy development.
- Marketing experience is highly valued.
