Job description

H.E. Neumann is looking for a Mechanical Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Morgantown, WV!
THE ROLE AT A GLANCE:
  • Candidate must perform all aspects of developing preliminary and /or definitive detailed estimates and proposals for labor, materials, and equipment associated with mechanical construction projects encompassing hydronic/weld piping and sheet metal.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Obtain and evaluate vendor and sub-contractor pricing for compliance with project specifications and drawings.
  • Attend pre-bid site meetings, verify site conditions, and interface with Owners, Developers, and General Contractors.
  • Manage the bid preparation and formal written proposal process in its entirety.
  • Electronically maintain records of all working documents and data to back up estimates and proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to understand/coordinate Mechanical Construction with other building trades (Architectural/Structural etc.)
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with good communication and writing abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with an emphasis on multitasking.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational time management skills.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
