Job Description: Machine Operator

Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 4:00pm

Location: Pitman, NJ

OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Machine Operator, you will be sewing and assembling synthetic material on industrial sewing machines. You will be sewing with PVC and other types of materials. Able to handle material weighing up to 150lbs.

Interested in this opportunity – willing to train the right person.

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Operating a sewing machine
• Sew in PVC materials
• Utilize hand tools such as pliers, rulers, and staplers
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Read and understand directions, including job cards and blueprints set-up form and material needed to create bellow
• Inspect finished parts for quality of sewing, part to print, & order quantity
• Highly motivated, self-directed
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Perform operator preventative maintenance on sewing machine
• All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Extreme attention to detail
• Experience in sewing machine operation

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience running industrial sewing equipment
• Mechanically inclined
