Job Summary:

The HR Manager oversees HR operations to align with business goals and cultivate a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities include employee relations, talent acquisition, policy development, compensation management, and employee development. This role collaborates closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Employee Relations: Act as a reliable point of contact for employee inquiries, mediate conflicts, and develop initiatives to nurture a positive workplace atmosphere.
• Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Assist in formulating effective recruitment approaches, oversee the hiring process, and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
• Policy Development and Compliance: Formulate and uphold HR policies in line with legal standards, regularly audit HR practices for compliance, and mitigate associated risks.
• Compensation and Benefits: Supervise all aspects of employee compensation, including salaries, benefits, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Training and Development: Identify training needs, design and coordinate development programs, evaluate their impact, and contribute to disciplinary processes when necessary.
• Performance Management: Create and manage performance appraisal systems, provide guidance to managers in addressing performance issues, and offer training in effective performance management techniques.
• HR Analytics and Reporting: Maintain accurate HR records, utilize data analytics for informed decision-making, and support strategic planning efforts. (Experience with ADP and ADP Report writing would be a plus.)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years HR experience, preferably in related industry management.
• Preferred HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
• Strong business acumen in HR and employment law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skilled in data analysis and strategic staffing recommendations.
• Proven success in building trust with diverse teams.
• Demonstrates ethical handling of sensitive information.
• Effective communicator with positive tone and active listening.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Entrepreneurial drive and strategic leadership.
