Machine Shop Associate Job Duties:
  • Use hand grinders, belt sanders, and finishing tools to smooth, clean up, and restore metal parts to exact specifications
  • Inspect machined or cast components for surface flaws, excess material, or imperfections that need rework
  • Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure they meet tight quality and customer standards
  • Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and rework procedures to correctly repair and finish each part
  • Identify, mark, and track parts that need additional work while maintaining accuracy, safety, and quality standards

Shifts Available:ย Training on day or swing shift, work schedule TBD but must be open to Day, Swing, or Graveyard
  • Day: Mondayโ€“Friday, 6:00amโ€“2:30pm
  • Swing: Mondayโ€“Friday, 2:00pmโ€“10:30pm
  • Graveyard: Sundayโ€“Thursday, 10:00pmโ€“6:30am
Pay:ย $25.69 per hour

Machine Shop Associate Requirements:
  • 2 years experience required using angle, die, or dynabrade grinders or similar (manufacturing, construction, or autobody)
  • 6 months experience required using measuring tools like calipers, gauges, or reading a measuring tape
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions carefully
  • Comfortable wearing PPE (steel-toe boots, ear protection, and safety glasses)
