As Manufacturing Lead, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day production performance within a specialized cold heading and fastener manufacturing operation. You'll lead by example on the production floor, setting up and operating multi-die progressive headers and automated bolt lines, troubleshooting mechanical and tooling issues, supporting die maintenance, and providing technical direction to operators. What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Lead day-to-day cold heading and fastener manufacturing operations, including setup, changeovers, production, troubleshooting, and equipment performance.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot multi-die progressive headers, cold heading equipment, and automated bolt manufacturing lines.
  • Diagnose mechanical, tooling, and process issues while making adjustments to dies, tooling, machine settings, and production processes.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership to operators, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, standard work, and accurate production documentation.
  • Support die maintenance, tooling modifications, inspections, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and scrap.


What Youโ€™ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cold heading, fastener manufacturing, multi-die progressive headers, or a closely related manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and adjust cold heading and fastener production equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working with dies, tooling, mills, lathes, grinders, and other shop equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, understand shop math, interpret tooling specifications, and use precision measuring equipment.
  • Strong technical leadership, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead operators while remaining hands-on on the production floor.
