CMM Programmer & Operator

Role and Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge and best practices in inspection and metrology to inspect product per customer and/ or internal specifications. Provide inspection data in an organized format, suitable for presentation to customers as part of the final data package and/or FAIR.
• Showcase an orderly approach to work scope; organizes all standard work as directed; and utilizes tools and processes adhering to approved procedures.
• Contribute to the quoting/RFQ process by working with the engineering team to review customer's requirements and determine if the work is a good Provide feedback on the appropriate inspection method and time estimate.
• Support operations at the material lab and overall inspection as

JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years' experience performing Quality
• 2+ years' experience programming CMM Zeiss
• 2+ years' experience performing Inspections With CMM
• CAD, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel skills
• Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Skills

Experience completing AS9102 FAIR.

Physical Requirements:

The CMM Programmer & Operator must be able to:

• Operate basic office machines, such as a computer, copy machine, fax, scanner, etc.
• Lift a minimum of 25-50lbs., repeatedly, without assistance and up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Push/pull heavy objects with the proper equipment.
• Wear the appropriate PPE when required (i.e., safety glasses or side shields, steel-toe footwear, etc.).
• Stand for long periods of time; up to 8-10 hours a day.
