Senior Cost Accountant - Direct Hire
This one-hundred-year-old company, local to Omaha, stands the test of time and continues to grow and make a huge impact in not only the agricultural industry but also the community. This wonderful organization is adding a Senior Cost Accountant to one of its divisions. This role offers you an opportunity to plant your flag, grow a new role, and leave your mark in many parts of the organization.
WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THIS SENIOR COST ACCOUNTANT OPPORTUNITY?
- Direct Hire
- 3 days in the office each week – more during training
- $100000 base plus bonus – with some flexibility depending on experience
DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR COST ACCOUNTANT?
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Cost accounting experience
- Inventory experience
- Outstanding communication skills – the ability to communicate with many different individuals and levels of employees within the organization
- 5% travel required – quarterly travel to two other plans (more when the position starts)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS THE SENIOR COST ACCOUNTANT INCLUDE:
- Strategy planning
- Monitoring and adjusting inventory controls as necessary – implementing created change
- Financial statement analysis
- Standard Cost accounting functions
- Month-end close process
