Job Description

Summary of Duties:

The mission of the Quality Manager is to ensure World Class corporate performance through quality achievement recognized by the accreditations platforms and to ensure all accreditations are registered, documented, achieved, continuously improved, (re)certified and renewed. The role of the manager is to ensure corporate ISO 9001:2015 quality management system (QMS), AISC certifications, and ASME certifications. The role is responsible for ensuring all employees are properly trained in installation practices, corporate processes and procedures, and are prepared to be audited if called upon by the relevant accrediting agency.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Responsible for assessing corporate conformance to the Quality Management System (QMS)

· Assist with all inspection and testing services.

· Develop, document, implement, and monitor Quality Management Standards.

· Organize and lead Kaizen meetings to improve business processes in the company.

· Develop, implement, and manage Key Performance Indicators to measure QMS and continuous improvement in the company.

· Lead the organization towards QMS improvement.

· Monitor installation activities relating to client expectations of the company.

· Report QMS progress, activities, and observations to Department Managers

· Review plans and installation to ensure that it meets building codes, local ordinances and zoning regulations

· Monitor construction sites/fabrication facilities to ensure overall compliance

· Use survey instruments, testing equipment, and other systems to ensure that product meets code and requirements

· Verify alignment, level, and elevation of products

· Keep daily logs, including photographs taken during inspection

· Provide written feedback related to the findings

· Other duties as assigned

 

Accountability:

· Comply with all company policies and procedures.

· Approved MVR

· All employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present. Employees should immediately notify their supervisor so that the hazard may be corrected.

· Employees and subcontractors are required to implement and maintain all safety and health systems practices including the training requirements of Orientation, CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Identification and Reporting, and OSHA 30.

 

 

Minimum Physical Requirements:

  • Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.
  • Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.
  • Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
  • Work in all types of weather.
  • Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
  • Ability to lift, move, and/or carry 50 lbs.

· Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.

· Generate CAR, determine RCA, analyze data, develop and implement preventive/corrective actions and communicate to Department Managers

· Proficient in all accreditations

· Able to train, certify and maintain documentation on all special processes

· Attend all manufacturer recommendations on training

· Ability to Troubleshoot issues

· 360/BIM 360 proficient understanding and execution

 

Qualifications:

· Proficient/Licensed in all trades

· 6+ Years of Construction Experience

· Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, with a background in Mechanical Engineering.

· Advanced Customer Service Skills

· Intermediate Computer Skills

· Professional Writing Skills
