Structural Engineer - 1799717

We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience and proficiency in Revit to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, coupled with extensive experience using Revit to develop and coordinate detailed structural designs within a collaborative design environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead collaboration with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to develop efficient and integrated structural designs using Revit.
2. Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure designs meet project requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
3. Generate detailed structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using Revit software.
4. Work closely with clients to understand project goals, requirements, and constraints, providing senior-level technical expertise during project meetings.
5. Review and coordinate with architectural and MEP designs within the Revit platform to ensure a seamless and coordinated project documentation process.
6. Perform site visits and assessments to evaluate existing structures and provide recommendations for renovations or upgrades.
7. Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address structural design issues and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
8. Stay current with industry trends, advancements in structural engineering, and emerging technologies to enhance project outcomes.
9. Contribute to the mentorship and professional development of junior engineers within the team.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, with a strong proficiency in using Revit for structural design and documentation.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
4. Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000) along with advanced skills in Revit.
5. Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations related to structural engineering.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. Experience with BIM and 3D modeling tools is a plus.
