Commitment Level: 40 hours per week, on-site, 10% travel

**The salary range for this role is $65,000-$85,000 and will commensurate with experience**
Company Overview:
Our client builds well-designed backyard homes, constructed offsite and installed in homeowner backyards through a simple process that takes as little as 2 weeks on-site. Backyard homes (aka accessory dwelling units) were recently legalized in CA to address the housing crisis and have been growing in other metros across the US. Our client offers an end-to-end experience, handling permitting, construction and install, for homeowners looking for more living space or rental income. This company is on-site 1/10th the time, while traditional site-construction is also 50% more expensive.
Position Overview:
Business Ops Associate
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to Day administrative activities, including:
o Manage office operations for corporate office and showroom in Redwood City
o Connect with customers upon entry to showroom to provide a warm, on-brand
welcome experience
o Manage inbound phone calls and triage to necessary team member
o Manage some Human resources duties, including new employee onboarding
o Assist with processing invoices for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
-Provide support to company executives, including:
o Manage calendar scheduling, as needed
o Reach out to new target cities with emails asking for meetings with building and
planning staff
o Attend company marketing events to assist with administrative management
- Provide assistance, as needed on a project by project basis
o Compile building permit applications for new projects
o Mange information process with General contractors
- Generally support team members in all activities to ensure company growth and success.
Requirements:
- 2+ years in administrative work or a customer-facing role
- Self-starter who takes initiative and responsibility for their work and actions
- Comfort working in the uncertainty of a new company, with a consistently evolving agenda
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional schedules
- An eye for quality, detail, and a desire to perform at a high level
- The ability to travel via car or plane to client meetings, project sites or company events
