As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and driven Program Quality Lead Engineer to join our team.

About the Role: As a Program Quality Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for directing and managing all Quality Assurance, Safety and Hazards Analysis aspects of the Program from initial customer interaction through development, procurement, manufacturing, test, and final delivery of Large Solid Rocket Motors. This position requires a self-motivated, highly skilled Chief Engineer with experience and extensive knowledge of Quality to manage the program with minimal oversight and guidance on timelines shorter than usual in the industry.

Program Quality Lead Engineer

Ability to develop, plan, and implement quality strategies, methods, and systems for the entire program ensuring Government contract compliance. Position is integral with the Program Office from initial customer interactions through contract completion across all cost, schedule, and performance elements.

• Support project planning to include personnel assignments, work efforts, customer requirements, deliverables development, and tracking.
• Support Program Office on day-to-day activities of the program team, including tracking action items, status reports, customer interactions, and associated corporate taskings.
• Support development of customer, corporate, and program level briefings and reports.
• Support defined supply chain management activities related to specific program procurements.
• Support Risk Management and run the Risk Board Meeting.
• Coordinate and track items negatively impacting customer requirements.

SAFETY

• Ensure strict compliance with defense industry regulations through a proactive and informed approach, across the program.
• Efficiently manage safety incidents with insightful solutions management, creating an environment where every challenge is an opportunity to strengthen our safety protocols.

HAZARDS ANALYSIS

• Conduct thorough hazard analyses, including:
  • Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP): Identify deviations from normal operation.
  • Fault Tree Analyses (FTA): Analyze failure modes and their consequences.
  • Evaluate severity, likelihood, and potential impact of each hazard.

QUALIFICATIONS

B.S. in Engineering or Sciences with 9 years of experience. M.S. in Engineering or Sciences may substitute for years of experience.
