Job Title: Quality and EHR Coordinator

Reports to: Director of Quality, Risk, and Compliance

Summary: The Quality and EHR Coordinator will support clinical quality projects utilizing the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and be responsible for monitoring and updating key performance indicators across the organization. This position will support both the EHR and Quality, Risk, and Compliance departments with projects related to data, outcomes, and internal processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports clinical data management for the clinical teams (medical, dental, behavioral health, optometry).
  • Works with the team to identify and develop improved efficiencies in workflows as pertaining to clinical applications.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Clinical Quality Assurance and other stakeholders, maintain the clinical quality dashboards, Azara DRVS, and identifies opportunities to improve processes and performance.
  • In partnership with all leaders, maintain key performance indicators for the organization.
  • In collaboration with the EHR Optimization Coordinator, maintains the workflow report, disseminates information to supervisors, and assists both supervisors and individual staff in clearing deficiencies and improving efficiencies in workflows.
  • Participates in Uniform Data System (UDS) preparation and submission, especially as it pertains to clinical quality data (6A, 6B and 7).
  • Participates in projects supporting Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition, especially as it relates to EHR use and clinical quality data (KM, CM, CC).
  • Supports quality improvement activities by identifying data sources and monitoring outcomes.
  • Provides support for the Risk Management Program and the collection of required data metrics.
  • Assists EHR Optimization Coordinator with administrative functions of the EHR.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate's degree required.
  • At least one year's experience in clinical data management and two years of experience in an EHR required.
  • Proficiency with Excel required. Experience with eClinicalWorks, Azara DRVS, SmartSheet, and/or Microsoft PowerBl preferred.
  • Proficiency with charts, pivot tables, look-up functions, If statements, and matching functions preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical coding, medical terminology, quality improvement programs, and project management preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

  • Mathematical Ability: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
