Job Description

Our client since 2001, has provided exceptional professionally managed support to our clients nationwide, including many of the country's largest retailers, real estate holding companies, insurance providers, and commercial lenders. They pride themselves on being their client's "professional management" provider and "an extension of our client's team." They offer a full suite of facilities, emergency disaster response, and environmental services.

Our Client is seeking a Mitigation Supervisor responsible for responding to water, fire, and mold-damaged residential and commercial structures under general supervision. They are generally the first person to enter the structure after the disaster/damage, to make customers comfortable that their property will be handled professionally and carefully. The Mitigation Supervisor will supervise a mitigation project on a day-to-day basis and verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality within the specified constraints of time and cost to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case. The Mitigation Supervisor will also be responsible for performing site inspections, setting up, leading and training the crew members, documenting losses with accurate measurements, notes and photographs with strong attention to detail; estimating the cost of the loss through the cost estimation system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision to mitigation team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhere to their responsibilities and project milestones.
  • Directly provide guidance on projects to clients, vendors, and Watterson staff.
  • Manage, sell, supervise and produce mitigation work on a daily basis to accomplish daily and weekly production goals.
  • Continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders.
  • Oversee, mentor, and monitor technicians performing dry-out procedures and mold remediation.
  • Inspect new leads, present solutions to the customer, have work authorizations signed to begin mitigation/remediation work.
  • Work closely with Mitigation Project Manager to ensure proper schedule flow & timely job completion.
  • Responsible to work alongside mitigation team to teach, train/coach, mentor and help ensure all production goals are met.
  • Help monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
  • Assist in the procurement of adequate resources to achieve project objectives within planned timeframes.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues.
  • Establish practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
  • Initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities.
  • Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Proactively develop relationships with the subcontractor community.

Experience/Education

  • Extensive professional experience in leadership roles within the industry.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant regulations and laws
