In fact, we’re counting on it. That being said, here are some of the broad strokes of our Tax Senior position which will support the Professional & Emerging Business Services Service Line.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, design, and execute tax projects and compliance initiatives, working collaboratively with both PYA and client teams
• Lead the activities of teams – including tax staff accountants – who compile and review financial statements and prepare tax returns and other activities for corporate partnerships and S-Corps with multi-jurisdiction complexities
• Identify client tax and accounting issues, develop innovative solutions and proactively communicate these recommendations to clients

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of tax and accounting experience with a public accounting and/or consulting firm
• CPA or EA license is preferred
• Previous tax experience with healthcare, including physician practices, real estate, and professional service industries preferred
• Client-oriented work ethic, committed to high-quality results
• Creative problem solver with a high level of strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills and a passion for helping clients
