Job Description

Summary/General Description of Job:

As a Field Engineer, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and manage field operations, assist in increasing client satisfaction, and offer technical support.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure on-site efficiency and safety at all times.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager to manage and track new hires, onboarding paperwork, daily reports and timesheets in a timely manner.
  • Scheduling of activities to be completed.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to on-site staff.
  • Attend daily/weekly meetings to discuss the progress of the project, update required personnel as required.
  • Notify management of any employee issues and/or concerns.
  • Responsible for tracking all project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the project and end users.
  • Provide periodical reports, as instructed and required, to management and obtain management approval as required.
  • Lead, manage and motivate project teams and members successfully.
  • Interact with clients, interpret their needs and requirements, and represent them in the field.
  • Perform quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and report on the project's status.
  • Cooperate and communicate with the project manager and other project participants and collaborate with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods
  • Review the engineering tasks and initiate the necessary corrective actions.
  • Ensure the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • A valid engineering license is preferred.
  • 2 or more years' field and project planning experience.
  • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
  • The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
